Its was something like a ghost town with the exception of the volunteers who were trying their best to help clear out the homes, so the owners could move back in. I don't think there are words I can use to describe the devastation that I saw...18th months after the failure of the leeves. I can't believe that this could possible happen in America. This is the lower 9th ward area which was complete devastated by the failure of the levees.
